Come one come all, it’s back again baby!
The 9th Annual 24 Hour Livestream to benefit the kids at the Stead Family Children’s Hospital is back! This time it will take place on November 8th, starting at 9AM at twitch.tv/nedonair!
So it’s been 9 years, so you figure you would probably know what it is…but just in case you didn’t.
The 24 Hour Livestream, I…Ned…pledge to sit on my ass and livestream video games for your viewing pleasure to raise money for the kids at the Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City! This is all part of Extra Life’s ‘Game Day’ where gamers from all around the country pledge to do that same and raise money for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in their respective area.
We hope to break last years record and raise a MASSIVE $8,000!
Coming back this year is donating to make me eat GROSS PICKLES and my good friend Kyle joining me doing the same with Bananas! Let’s also not forget you can donate to have wax strips placed on our hairy bodies and rip hair off….it’s not fun, BUT it’s for the kids!
This year is a bit more personal on my end because my family ended up having to utilize the services of the hospital for my youngest daughter Ivy, who was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, where we visit the doctors there to manage her disease. FYI, she has gotten MUCH better thanks to expertise and medications are working great…she went from being able to BARELY walk to running like your typical 2 year old!
We’ll be livestreaming your favorite games and maybe even having you join us a few times too! What games are we playing? Well, Star Fox 64 to name one of them.
