A 42-year-old dude in Missouri named Shawn was arrested after he showed up to a courthouse in a stolen car.
While he was inside the courthouse, detectives noticed the VIN tag on the Pontiac had been tampered with and was hiding the original VIN. Oh, and there was also a handgun inside the car.
Cops found out who owned the car and went to his house. He didn’t even know the car was stolen! So he filed a report.
Shawn was arrested inside of the courthouse for outstanding warrants.
He was also charged with stealing the car and unlawful use of a weapon.
