June 15, 1989 was the day the world got a first taste of Nirvana. That’s the day the band released their debut album, Bleach.
The title for the album came from a poster ‘Bleach Your Works’ urging drug users to bleach their needles. Kurt Cobain said that most of the lyrics on the album were written the night before recording while he was feeling pissed off.
Do you remember buying this album? I was 11-years-old at the time and a few years later, I remember my dad having the album.
