My brother and friend are coming into town this weekend, and earlier this week I started having some symptoms which have since cleared up. It showed all the signs of a small cold so I didn’t worry too much….but to air on the side of caution, I got a COVID test which these days you self administer.
Went to Walgreens and they gave me a swab through the drive thru and told me the instructions of 15 seconds per nostril….well…you may not know this, but I have a sensitive nose.
As I am jamming this thing up there, it triggers my sneezing and I just start sneezing like an insane person. The pharmacist is just watching probably in horror as this disaster of a human being basically covering his dashboard in mucus. She spoke through the speaker “If it hurts pull it out!” and I just continue sneezing like a psychopath.
Long story short, I drove off laughing cause this poor pharmacist probably thought, “Wow….what an idiot.”
It came back negative, so that’s nice.
