Apfelfest went down over the weekend in the Amana Colonies, and I was there hanging out. The Amanas are probably my favorite place to go to here in Eastern Iowa. I got to sample a lot of apple goodies like fudge, tea, cider etc. Last weekend was the kick-off event leading up to Oktoberfest on Oct. 1 and 2. Click HERE to see a calendar of events!
