This guy MIGHT be considered a HERO . . . if he wasn’t putting other people’s lives at risk.  At least, if you believe his excuse.

Last September, a 23-year-old dude in Coralville named Saleh Ali Nasr was pulled over for speeding.  And he was FLYING.  The cops clocked him at 103 in a 65 miles-per-hour zone.

He pleaded guilty, and paid the $314 ticket last year . . . but then they also suspended his license.  And he’s been fighting that ever since.

He says he was driving so fast because it was an emergency, and he was on his way to get sanitary pads for his wife.

His lawyer says the officer behaved in an “insulting” manner, and treated him unfairly because of his ethnicity.  He’s asking for a judicial review, arguing that the authorities’ actions are “unreasonable, arbitrary, and capricious.”

Dumbass for speeding, but if his story is true, he’s a good husband.
