This is something I should try to do sometimes.

I’ve always been a fast moving guy…and I always have to be doing something. Whether it be working, doing stuff around the house, chores, working on stream…whatever! The more I do that though, the less I focus on my mental health and stuff for me. I even have a hard time just sitting and watching TV cause I KNOW that dishes need to be done.

The latest trend though? #TheArtofSlowLiving is the latest trend…meaning that spending more ‘Me Time,’ relaxing, and saying ”No” to invites. Currently the hashtag has over 3.5 million posts and growing.

I think that is true though, and I support this….we spend SO MUCH TIME getting pissed about random stuff, doing things we don’t want to do to satisfy others…that we forget to take that moment to breathe for a bit. Everyone’s life is different…but every once in awhile? It’s ok to get an hour massage, read a book, or just sit on the front porch and watch the birds.

Nothing wrong with slowing down…your brain may thank you.

Honestly I could learn a little from slow living myself.
