Someone dug through Google Trends data to find each state’s favorite cereal. And Iowa’s was COOKIE CRISP…?
I remember liking Cookie Crisp when I was little, but that’s it. Jerry Seinfeld loves to bash on Cookie Crisp, because you’re literally eating COOKIES for breakfast.
Cookie Crisp also won in 5 other states.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch won 13 states.
Froot Loops was next at #1 in 8 states.
Frosted Flakes had 4 states. Honey Bunches of Oats had 3, as did Cap’n Crunch, Apple Jacks, and Kix.
2 states love Fruity Pebbles, and there was also love for Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Rice Crispies, Frosted Mini-Wheats, Wheaties, and Cocoa Puffs.
Strangely, Lucky Charms wasn’t #1 ANYWHERE . . . and yet Raisin Bran WAS. The folks in Missouri are apparently crazy for it.
