With things seemingly mostly back to normal…
A lot of us were forced to work from home last year, resulting in many purchases that you likely would not normally make to make sure home was a more entertaining than normal.
A poll done by the BBC collected data and found that these 18 things were the most regretful purchases during the pandemic. Personally I don’t agree with all these as a lot of them are quite useful and awesome…I guess it depends on how much you SPENT on whatever item that is.
1. Gaming equipment (I resent this…)
2. Tools or carpentry equipment. (Suddenly you can do it right?)
3. Clothes or shoes
4. Home gym equipment (That Pelaton still working for ya?)
5. Musical instruments (The next Eddie Van Halen could be sitting in wait)
6. Pizza oven (Always good to have, but used rarely)
7. Hot tub or Jacuzzi (Now this is just smart)
8. Equipment for a sports hobby, such as fishing or golf (Why regret this?)
9. Scooter (Like…a Razor scooter? They still make those?)
10. Garden furniture
11. Jewelry
12. Kitchen appliances, like an air-fryer or bread maker. (Ask my basement, plenty of those just sitting down there)
13. Voice-activated assistant (Alexa, play Rock 108)
14. Smartphone / tablet
15. TV (But now you have an awesome TV!)
16. Hobby equipment, like arts and crafts materials (That scrapbook you thought you were going to work on)
17. Computer equipment (Probably already outdated)
18. Bicycle
