Ghostbusters: Afterlife is about to hit theaters this weekend, and when you think Ghostbusters, what comes to mind?
Well….Hi-C ECTO COOLER…DUH! And it’s back for a limited time again.
For those that don’t know the greatness of Ecto Cooler, it’s basically an orange citrus drink colored green that originally came out in the very early 90’s to promote ‘The Real Ghostbusters’ TV show that I watched as a kid. The show ended eventually, but Ecto Cooler lived on for a couple more years then died out for years. THEN to promote Ghostbusters: Answer the Call…they brought it back! Promotion ended and it was gone again….until now.
But here is the catch….according to their Twitter, Ecto Cooler will ONLY be available in PARTICIPATING THEATERS!!! Not on store shelves!
That kinda sucks…cause I get the feeling that it will ONLY be available in like, the BIG chains like AMC or whatever, likely not Marcus or your local town theater. However, I can’t 100% confirm that.
