When you get a tattoo….
You BETTER KNOW what you want and where you are gonna get it! Take it from me, the guy who loves tattoos. Before I started my tattoo sleeve journey, I sat on it for a very long time and once the time came? I still wanted it and couldn’t be happier with it so far.
However in the early 2000’s? The trendy thing to do was get a tattoo on your lower back right above your butt, which then got labeled…the TRAMP STAMP! I knew a few people who got them around this time, and me personally? I never really liked them…however…guess what is back in style?
According to an interviewed tattoo artist from THIS BLOG, they have been getting more and more requests for lower back tattoos. One woman recently got one said she put if off for years, because of the stigma…and when she decided to go for it? She said it makes her feel empowered.
The bright side here for the artist though? It’s a pretty clean canvas! Pretty flat, no crazy curves, etc.
It’s your body, do what you want! For me though, eh…this one I feel like should have stayed in the 2000’s.
