That was 5 years ago?
How crazy is that? Feels like yesterday, especially considering how much has changed since then. Do you remember when I took the day to drive ALL THE WAY to Jackson, MN to get a cup of coffee?
But not any normal cup of coffee…heavy metal coffee…that was brewed by the one and only Dave Ellefson of Megadeth.
That was a fun trip, cause I remember calling into JP on my trip in the Rock 108 car having NO idea where I was, and when I eventually did get there? I basically had no money to buy anything outside….a single cup of coffee. This was reletively early in my Rock 108 carreer, so the wife and I were scraping by and recovering from moving expenses.
Sadly as of this writing, Dave is no longer in Megadeth and Ellefson Coffee Co.’s location in Jackson, MN has closed it’s doors.
What I remember the most though? My mechanic Steve calling me on the LOOONG drive home to tell me that my wife’s car needed a $700 car repair….that….was….awesome.
