I feel like everyone at some point, had a Game Boy.
33 years ago, the original gaming brick…Nintendo’s Game Boy was released unto the world and really? It changed a LOT in gaming…did you have one?
As a kid with a brother, we didn’t get a Game Boy until its second version came around named Game Boy Pocket cause….well….if you buy one kid a Game Boy, you gotta get 2, and that starts to get expensive real quick!
It’s amazing how long Game Boy lasted, with many people still today calling a portable gaming console a GAME BOY. Kids today have smart phones with rechargable batteries and all the colors of the world, but when we were younger….we had a pea soup green screen, 4 AA batteries, and the hope that sometimes the street light will hit just right in the back our your parents ’94 Plymouth Aerostar so we can see our game of Super Mario Land play out.
