SPORTS – University of Tennessee junior Ben Joyce threw a 105.5 mph pitch over the weekend against Auburn. This is the second-fastest pitch thrown in ALL of baseball. Pro pitcher Aroldis Chapman threw a 105.8 mph heater when he was on the Cincinnati Reds in 2010.
DAILY DUMBASS- Police in Belfast, Maine got a call Sunday night about a drunk guy at the Admiral Ocean Inn. The motel had kicked him out and said they would arrest him if he came back. A cop swung by again around 12:40 a.m. to make sure he wasn’t there. He tried to hide from them by draping a bedsheet over himself. Officers pulled the sheet off and arrested him.
