I’m a little disappointed in myself.
Eastern Iowa’s newest theme park has opened, The Lost Island Theme Park….and? I HAVEN’T GONE YET!
You MIGHT know me as that guy that REALLY likes going to theme parks, hell, I drive HOURS just to get to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH…but one that is 7 minutes away from my house? I can’t get the time too! But my reasoning is pretty reasonable…
I have a 1 1/2 year old, meaning she is just a bit too young to hit the rides yet. Also, time is hard to come by! But last week I found out kinda something that hinders it a bit for me….they’re only open from 10a-6p
I get outta work and home by 6:45, meaning I missed that window pretty badly and the weekends are still chock full of parenting and playing the game of ‘catch up!’ According to Lost Island Theme Park, they cannot keep it open past 6 due to lack of staff, which sadly is a real situation with many places at this time.
I really want this theme park to flourish and be successful, so if you haven’t yet, go check it out, even if I am not able too…yet.
