I think I can get behind this.
I have gained a reputation for either never or forgetting to reply to text and Facebook messages, which yea, I will gladly admit that. However, when I get home…the last thing I want to do is be on my phone, cause I end up DOOM SCROLLING and before you know it, my daughter is wondering why I am ignoring her….that sucks.
A restaurant in Texas though, is saying NOPE to Cell Phones and outright BANNING them from his restaurant, and you know what? I like this idea.
When I go out to dinner with my wife, the LAST THING I want? Is my phone distracting me. I’m a big advocate for face to face communication…and I have seen millions of times now, couples on their phones while at dinner. Sometimes the worst….is a couple and ONE of them is just scrolling away and the other is just sitting there, it looks so demeaning.
