The freakin’ 90’s dude.
Growing up as a kid in that time was wild…everything that was marketed to me was GROSS, COOL, EWWW, WHOA, RAD, WEIRD! It was a fun time to be a kid that’s for sure.
Brian and I were chatting about old Super Nintendo games and he reminded me of this Super Nintendo commercial that featured the Butthole Surfers! I barely if at all remembered it, but holy crap this commercial is a buzz.
I mean….BIKES, VIDEO GAMES, CROWD SURFING, ALL to the fast paced music…it was Nintendo’s brand campaign of PLAY IT LOUD where they were trying to move away from the kid friendly image of the old day and more aimed at teens. It worked on me that’s for sure.
This commercial is pure insanity, and it’s beautiful.
