It may be the largest pizza ever recorded in history, as the place that has been ‘makin’ it great’ for years and years, PIZZA HUT…has seemingly broken the Guinness Record for the largest pizza EVER!
How big is this thing? It measures in 14,000 square feet.
It is equivalent to 68,000 slices! And cost 13,653 pounds of dough, 5,000 pounds of sauce, and 8,800 pounds of cheese….also? 630,000 slices of pepperoni. It also used a bank of heaters to cook it from above and took 48 hours from start to finish.
Impressive…but the first question I asked was…’What are they doing with it?’ Turns out local shelters will benefit with all of it going to those shelters….so that’s good.
That’s a helluva pizza party.
