If you’re like most of us? You pay for maybe a couple streaming services…
And then trade passwords with your friends….it’s how my family and I do it! I pay for Netflix, they give me Hulu and Disney…it’s a balancing act. But all good things I feel like come to an end eventually as the big one Netflix is CRACKING DOWN on that password sharing.
According to Netflix:
“To ensure uninterrupted access to Netflix, connect to the Wi-Fi at your primary location, open the Netflix app or website, and watch something at least once every 31 days. This creates a trusted device so you can watch Netflix, even when you’re away from your primary location.”
So if you are using an account that is not yours outside of your in-home wi-fi…it will block you until you sign up for your own account.
The next question is, what if you are traveling and using your phone or tablet? In that case, you request a temporary code which will give you access for 7 DAYS!
Honestly, with ALL of the streaming services out there? I use Netflix the least, and I have been a customer since they only rented out DVD’s! Sadly though, this may be the end of my Netflix account.
Too-da-loo….saves me what, $15 per month now? I use Paramount +, Disney, and Hulu more anyway.
