Even if you are not a fan of wrestling, you probably know who the Undertaker is.
WWE’s The Undertaker has announced that he will not be returning to the ring after his most recent match with superstar AJ Styles. Taker went on to say that he has no desire to wrestle again after that match. WWE’s official Twitter even thanked him for his 30 years of service to the company.
But, if you know wrestling….really anything could be possible…the dude could be back to the ring next week….but that’s sports entertainment for you.
When I was REALLY following wrestling back in my childhood, I was more of a WCW fan. Even though Taker was in the WWE, EVERYONE knew who the Undertaker was. He is one of the most legendary wrestlers of all time, and when you say Undertaker, people most likely know who he is. Hell, we even have a P-1 that goes by ‘TakerForever.’
If this truly is the end for the Undertaker, that’s the end of one hell of a legacy in sports entertainment.
