Who’s the next guest on Coffee & Quarantine? Easily one of my favorite guitarist out there!
Virus of the band DOPE joins me on the Coffee & Quarantine show this week, and let’s just say….Virus takes guitar playing to a whole new level! Sure you may know him as the guitarist of Dope, but this dude stays busy when he’s not in studio writing a new album or touring with the band.
He’s a guitar teacher, former guitarist of David Draiman’s (Disturbed) side project Device, also a touring guitarist for ‘Rock Of Ages’ the Musical! He also does solo acoustic shows where he covers pop tunes, country tunes, you name it! When it comes to guitar, Virus SHOULD be up there with some of the more known guitarist! A long time ago, I did a list online that labeled out my Top 5 Metal Guitarist of all time…Virus is 100% on that list.
Aside from being a guitar god, he’s just a cool dude to talk too…and I am very jealous of his wall o’ Dean Guitars. I always will remember the moment my wife defended libraries when we were at Spicoli’s a few years back to him, it was great 🙂

Dope has always been a favorite band of mine, while I enjoy listening to the lyrics….Dope just has an AWESOME show and the guitar ALWAYS sounds so riffy and excellent.
