James Hetfield of Metallica turns 57-years-old today. I just adore this guy. Every interview I’ve ever watched of him, he’s SO grounded, kind and just down to Earth. Crazy that he’s 39 years into Metallica! Metallica is the only job he’s ever had! He started the band when he was just 19-years-old.
I also respect his openness during his addiction struggles. As you know, he checked himself back into treatment last year. To me, that shows major strength. To some people, they might see it as a weakness, but it’s DEF NOT. Think of the alternative if he didn’t get help… We want James to be around many more years.
