What has the great Tony Campos been up to during the pandemic?
All sorts of stuff, even performing still in a very reduced capacity! Static-X did take part in a couple of social distancing shows, however for the time being, those seem to be done! Tony is the original bassist of Static-X, which many of you may remember a certain album named ‘Wisconsin Death Trip!’ Featuring songs like Push It, I’m With Stupid, and so many others.
Tony has been helping keep the legacy of Static-X and Wayne Static alive by revisiting many songs that were left by Wayne, and recording them with masked singer Xero (which I’m pretty sure I know who that singer is 😉 ) Their album ‘Regeneration’ is out now, and found out they have a 2nd on the way!
So what did Tony and I chat about?
- Being involved with the DOOM: Eternal soundtrack
- Home repairs
- What’s the deal with Fear Factory?
- How did the so-called ‘Herd Immunity Fest’ go?
- Status of Regeneration 2?
All that and more! Check it out below!
