Oh how we miss thee.
August 20th, the day that the great Pantera guitarist Darrell ‘Dimebag’ Abbott was birthed into this world…who then with age became one of the greatest guitarist of all time. Just ask anyone in the metal and rock community, or anyone that plays guitar? They know the name Dimebag Darrell.
Dime sadly was murdered at the age of 38, but if Dime were still with us today? He would be 54 years old!
One thing I have heard consistently about Dime and his brother Vinnie, is they they were the guys who were the metal brothers…no matter WHO you were, they treated you like family, and would bring the Jager, beer, and grill to every tour stop they did.
