I live in Waterloo, bought a house about a month ago and quite a nice neighborhood. Nice yard, great neighbors, and the street is right off W Ridgeway. My alarm clock usually starts ringing at 8AM, but this morning? I was woken up by sirens a plenty…wondering…
‘What the hell is going on?’ Which then I clicked over to Facebook to see if anything was popping up on my feed and boom….
Police headed to a disturbance at a Ridgeway Avenue fuel facility were notified about the tanker striking the house a short time later.

What…the…f&^% right? This is just a few hundred yards from my house, as in RIGHT UP THE STREET!
The story has been surfing all around the internet, and talk about a crazy story. The crash happened around 6:45am, so thankfully my wife didn’t quite head to work yet. My street was closed down and I wondered what the hell was going on, why is MY nice neighborhood have a police car CLOSING IT DOWN?!?!
Thankfully no one was seriously injured, but good lord.
