Still my favorite album from them!
18 years ago today, Disturbed released their 2nd album named ‘Believe’ and it was at this time? I became a Disturbed fan.
While most Disturbed fans feel ‘The Sickness’ is their groundbreaking album, and it all honesty it was…Believe has a lot more variety of sound for me personally! Songs like Prayer, Remember, Liberate, were all just bangers I had on repeat.
The first time I ever heard this album was on a trip to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH with my friend Kyle. At the time, I couldn’t get enough of Green Day’s American Idiot album, and as his parents drove, we sat in the back listening to our portable CD players. He had Disturbed, I had Green Day! Eventually I wanted to hear something different so I asked if I could hear this ‘Believe’ album of his…and from that point forward? I didn’t listen to Green Day the rest of the trip.
I ended up buying a used copy at a CD store, cause those were still around at the time for $8…which was STEEP for me then!
