Oktoberfest in Amana Colonies has been cancelled, but they’re replacing it with fun weekend themed festivities. 8 weekend themes in total that kicked off last weekend. (Masks are recommended indoors and during events, and also to remain socially distanced.)

September 26-27: A Taste of the Colonies featuring the Wine, Chocolate, and Beer Walk Weekend
Wine Chocolate and beer?! Can’t go wrong there. Their website doesn’t provide any details about how this weekend’s festivities will go down, but if I have to guess, I’ll say there’ll be lots of wine chocolate and beer readily available!

My favorite place to go while visiting the Amanas is the chocolate shop! Their fudge is sinfully yummy, especially the peanut butter fudge one.
I also LOVE the meat selection at the general store and the meat shop!
Going to the Amanas is so close by, yet it feels like you are far away on a vacation in another part of the world. One of my FAVORITE places to visit!!
