Those things that came and went.
When you were a kid, chances are you were into some kind of fad that came and went. Fad is defined by Google as: an intense and widely shared enthusiasm for something, especially one that is short-lived and without basis in the object’s qualities; a craze.
I was born in 1987, so most of my fads were rooted in the 90’s to Early 2000’s! You would think that video games for me were a fad, but you know as much as anyone that is continuing passion for me.
Some of the fads that I remember I was REALLY into were:
- Tamagotchi/Giga Pet
- Pokemon (Cards, TV show, etc)
- Pogs
- JNCO Jeans
- Pop Punk (I count that…)
- Frosted tipped hair
- Chain wallets
- Skinny ties
- Weird suckers…(Ring Pop, Push Pop, etc)
