A dude in Bend, Oregon was feeling depressed because his marriage was failing, so he went to his family physician, who counseled him on ways to improve his marriage.
Turns out, that doctor was the reason this guy’s marriage was circling the drain. The doctor was having an affair with his wife!
The now ex-husband, is suing the doctor for $2.9 million for professional negligence.
According to the lawsuit: “As a result of (the doctor’s) conduct, the plaintiff sustained emotional distress including the loss of his marriage and emotional and social destruction of his family.”
The doctor has been licensed to practice medicine in Oregon since 1991. He has no prior cases of medical malpractice.
I suppose the doctor could at least let the guy know what his wife likes in bed from his own experience…
