The Playstation 5 is STILL hard to come by!
If you’re lucky, and I mean REALLY lucky…you’ll find yourself one online, or buy one from a scalper for over $1000! Yea…no thank you…even right now, there aren’t really console defining games right? There will be eventually yes, but right now? Slim pickin’s.
What does have legendary games right now? Nintendo 64….like Super Mario 64, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye…you name it, and if you’re in your 30’s? You know what I’m talking about.
So much so that a guy that goes by Traxus on resetera.com SOLD his Digital Edition Playstation 5 to repurchase his childhood Nintendo 64 collection, games and all. It all started when he found a broken CRTV hanging out on a street corner which instantly jolted his brain into reliving those old days of plopping in front of the tube TV and jamming some Doom 64. This immediately prompted him to sell the PS5 and use the profits to buy the year 1996 again.
According to his post: I have a couple children now and I feel like of all the retro consoles, the N64 is just fun as hell, especially for young kids with all of the amazing 3d platformers on the system. I’ve been playing Super Mario 64 with my boy and it holds up every bit as well as it played in 1996.
I…approve of this so much, and especially if your kids get into it too? There is so much win in there it’s crazy.
