Even non-wrestling fans likely know the fun that was this match.
Over 100,000 people in attendance watched this even go down in history as the largest indoor attended event all the way up until 1999. It’s still an awesome thing to watch! Seeing the crowd just go absolutely nuts and seeing Hogan lift up a 500+ pound man is a spectacle all in itself.
It may be scripted and entertainment, but man, what entertainment it was 34 years ago and is still considered one of the greatest match ups of all time.
