Man those Saw movies sure lasted a long time didn’t they?
Hell they started back in 2004 and went all the way to 2017 with ‘Jigsaw!’ Personally I got tired with them after Saw 3, but the fan base for this movie series is still going strong. So naturally, a new Saw would show up eventually…and it sure has with Spiral: From the Book of SAW.
Yup, that’s Chris Rock in a horror film…which by the way, it was also co-written by Chris….huh, interesting! When I was growing up I’d watch Chris in comedies, but it’s unique to see actors trying out something different.
I mean hell, Jordan Peele did it and is incredibly good at it.
