I’ve been waiting since 1977 for this.
Chances are you have been as well right? Ever since we saw the first ever lightsaber in Star Wars back in the 70’s, we’ve wondered if that will ever be possible. Since then, there have been plenty of toys that we have dealt with for years, and we got pretty close with those FX ones that you could get at like Barnes & Noble.
But Disney is looking to redefine the lightsaber with basically creating the closest version to a real one we’ll probably ever get. They have patented a ‘retractable lightsaber’ that looks like it’s the real freakin’ deal man.
Mind you, it is a toy and won’t cut your hand off…but just look at the video below and see for yourself!
This thing is set to arrive at Disney Resorts in 2022 and is rumored to be a cost to you of $200. Disney? Just take my money.
